About Workshop

One Day Workshop on Conference / Journal Paper Writing and Grant / Proposal Writing Skills, which is being hosted by the Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties London Chapter targets the ongoing Researchers and budding students with the passion to reach a highest goal. This workshop targets the Academic Faculty Members, Academic Students and other researchers to focus on the technical content and the ways to present a research article / proposal so that it is getting easily accepted. The sessions are handled by the experts who have gained a wide knowledge in submitting the papers / proposals.

Certification of Participation will be provided for all the Registered Participants!

CONFERENCE / JOURNAL PAPER WRITING – AGENDA

14th November, 2015 @ 9 AM to 12 Noon

Writing an effective technical paper for a Conference / Journal is more important than writing something. The first step of entering into a research isn’t by doing a seer result based research. And this is practically not possible. In this session, there are few important concepts which will be discussed. This will include Overview of technical writing, Contours of a paper, Structure and organization of a paper, Writing Style, Presenting graphics, Plagiarism, Effective Scientific Presentation, Technical Tools in Writing a Paper, Technical Tools used for Presenting a paper, Hands-on-Training. Participants are advised to bring 15 blank white papers and a pad for the Hands-on-training.

1015 to 1045 will be Defined Break for Tea!

GRANTS / RESEARCH PROPOSALS WRITING – AGENDA

It is highly a heart-breaking moment when we hear that our Research Grant or Travel Grant proposal is being rejected after scrutiny. In this session, there are few important concepts which will be discussed. This will include Overview of Grant Proposals Writing, Agency Approach, mandates of the proposal or grant application, Writing Style, purpose definition, and Hands-on-Training.

1500 to 1515 will be Defined Break for Tea!
