ASDF Regional Elections 2020-2023
Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties (ASDF) is an International Body for the Researchers by the Researchers. The Regional Executive Committee consists of the following elected positions for the period starting from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2023.

Members of the Regional Executive Council elected and should serve a 3-year term. Elections are conducted tri-annually to nominate and gear the standing committee. At the end of the election, All the office bearers should be a valid ASDF Live Member ID. Nominations should be submitted online. There are no other nomination methods. Choose the right region.
Members of the ASDF Regional Executive Council are primarily responsible for oversight and strategic planning for ASDF regional operations. ASDF REC serves as the liaisons with the International Secretary / Governing Councils. They meet 2 or 3 times annually for discussing various activities.
Expectations from ASDF REC:
- Set the strategic directions for the regional operations to best support the community of researchers and practitioners in varied areas.
- Promote technical and creative excellence by taking an active role in the community as individuals.
- Provide benefits for ASDF members within the scope and financial resources of the organization.
- Be a brand Ambassador to promote ASDF Events and be a pioneer for Awards and Conferences.
- Provide high-quality resources and programs (conferences, newsletters, etc.).
- Promote communication and interaction both within the ASDF Region and the broader community.
- Oversee conferences, symposia and workshops, both for quality and fiscal soundness.
- ASDF Increase Students, Faculties, Researchers, Scientists and diverse members of the region.
- Promote and publicize ASDF and ASDF activities.
- Lead or actively participate in one of the teams which are collectively responsible for the strategic work of the Executive Committee.
- Act as a liaison to one of the conference advisory groups.
New ASDF Bylaws took effect on September 1, 2019, and we are in a transition period. When the term of the current Officers is over, new Officers will no longer be elected by the members, but there will be an open election. This means that new Directors may be asked to serve as one of the Officers.
The major amendment made through is that any living person can be nominated for the Executive Team and anyone can vote for their leadership team, which means ASDF Membership ID mandatory has been exempted.
