Introduction

Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties aims purely in the development of knowledge in all the means of the sharing the knowledge among the people and enhancing the wide research capabilities of the individuals. Criteria for being a member of this society is highly relaxed so that even the members around the average line could be as a member and share their views on a particular concept or technology.

ASDF is a Professional Body which approves members after reviewing the case by case. Offering free of charge a membership will be good for holding the name, but to note it down the actions of the society will not be up to the mark. ASDF is a not for profit autonomous International Research Organisation and learned society focusing on improving the quality of Research Globally.

ASDF organises International Conferences, Workshops, Seminars and Symposia’s where the platform for sharing the knowledge among the people will be facilitated. ASDF also provides Technically Sponsorship and Technical Co-sponsorship for various Conferences held by various organisations and institutions. There are various grants available for the members.

Code of Conduct

National Interest

ASDF is highly committed for the benefit of the Research Development of the country in which it operates or partnership is signed with. No member of the society shall undertake any project or alliance or activity to the determent of the wider interests of the communities in which operates or activity is carried out.

The governing body shall benefit the country, localities and communities in which it operates to the extent possible and affordable, and shall be in accordance with the laws of the land. The Governing body including the members represented by the body shall respect the culture, customs and traditions of each country and region in which it operates or takes part.

Financial Reporting and Records

ASDF will prepare and maintain its accounts fairly and accurately and in accordance with the accounting and financial reporting standards which represent the generally accepted guidelines, principles, standards, laws and regulations of the country in which the Association conducts its activity.

Any willful, material misrepresentation of and / or misinformation on the financial accounts and reports shall be regarded as a violation of the Code, apart from inviting appropriate civil or criminal action under the relevant laws. No member shall make, authorise, abet or collude in an improper payment, unlawful commission or bribing.

Competition

The ASDF shall fully support the development and operation of research activities upto the mark laid time to time by the Board of members.

Equal Opportunities for Members

ASDF shall provide equal opportunities to all its members and all qualified applicants for membership without regard to their race, caste, religion, colour, ancestry, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, ethnic origin or disability.

Chaptering policies shall promote diversity and equality, as well as compliance with all local labour laws while encouraging the adoption of international best practices.

All the members shall be treated with dignity and in accordance with the policy of maintaining a work environment free of all forms of harassment, whether physical, verbal or psychological. Member policies and practices shall be administered in a manner consistent with applicable by-laws and other provisions of this Code, respect for the right to privacy and the right to be heard, and that in all matters equal opportunity is provided to those eligible and decisions are based on merit.

Political Non-Alignment

ASDF shall be committed to and support the constitution and governance systems of the country in which it operates. ASDF shall not support any specific political party or candidate for political office. The association’s conduct shall preclude any activity that could be interpreted as mutual dependence / favour with any political body or person, and shall not offer or give any association funds or property as donations to any political party, candidate or campaign.

Corporate Citizenship

ASDF shall be committed to good corporate citizenship, not only in the compliance of all relevant laws and regulations but also by actively assisting in the improvement of the quality of life of the people in the communities in which it operates.

Group Policies

ASDF shall recommend to its Governing Body the adoption of policies and guidelines periodically formulated by Quorum.

Protecting Association’s Assets

The assets of an ASDF shall not be misused; they shall be employed primarily and judiciously for the purpose of conducting the association activity for which they are duly authorised. These include tangible assets such as equipment and machinery, systems, facilities, materials and resources, as well as intangible assets such as information technology and systems, proprietary information, intellectual property, and relationships with members and other conference organisers.

Citizenship

The involvement of an ASDF members in civic or public affairs shall be with express approval from the Founder of the association when it is being represented by the society, subject to this involvement having no adverse impact on the association affairs of the society.

Integrity of Data Furnished

Every member of an ASDF shall ensure, at all times, the integrity of data or information furnished by him/her to the association. He/she shall be entirely responsible for ensuring that the confidentiality of all data is retained and in no circumstance transferred to any outside person/party in the course of normal operations without express guidelines from or, the approval of the management.
