“The 2nd South Indian ASDF Awards (SIAA) 2017 has been declared the results of Phase 5 today in a press conference held at Kochi, India. The most awaited results of the South Indian ASDF Awards are now out by the core members of the Awards committee and the International Secretary of ASDF jointly for all the 20 award categories.”
April 08, 2017 – The Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties South India hosts the SIAA each and every year across the South India to identify and markup them into a higher level which could be visualized into greater standards. The year long’s suspense is now out after various levels of ascertaining of documentation, qualification eligibility and various factors. The narrowing was done in various levels bringing out the 7186 nominations to 45.
The Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties (ASDF International), an International Organization fostering Research and Development hosts the SIAA to recognize people from micro level to a greater macro level. This is extended across all the states of South India and people of South Indian origin to choose the best out of all. The team headed by Dr. Purushothaman Seetharaman, President of South Indian ASDF Awards 2017, the outright task begun in the month of May 2016 with an open call for the nomination of the South Indian ASDF Awards.
With a back support from Dr. Uma Narsariya Dulhare, President – South India who is the Professor and Head in Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad; Dr. Sivagama Sundari, Secretary – ASDF South India who is the Professor in VV College of Engineering; and Dr. Gopikrishnan Sundaram, Treasurer – ASDF South India who is a Professor in Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore the entire process was influentially into the track.
The categories of South Indian ASDF Awards may comprise the following nominees at the end of the Phase 5 nominations. For the Best Circuit Faculty Awards, there are 7 winners and 1 finalist which includes Siva Chitra M of Kongu Engineering College, Taramol K G of Manipal University, Dubai, Chitra D of P. A. College of Engineering and Technology, Jagannath M of VIT University Chennai, Balamurugan S of Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology, Varalakshmi R of Vels University, Karthik M of Kongu Engineering College and Raviraj P of Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology
For the Best Circuit Students Awards, Bindhu S of Sri Sairam College of Engineering.
For the Best Director Finalist Awards, Vijay Lakshmikanthan of S A Engineering College.
For the Best Familiar Female Faculty Awards, there are 2 winners and 1 Finalist which includes Dhavamani M of Kongu Engineering College, Suganya R of Thiagarajar College of Engineering and Geetha A of Kongu Engineering College.
For the Best Familiar Male Faculty Awards, there are 3 winners which include Jabash Samuel G K of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, Arunachalam K of Anna University and Sivasakthi Balan K of Sri Sairam College of Engineering.
For the Best Industry Institute Awards, Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, Kanyakumari has won the title.
For the Best Non-Circuit Faculty Awards, there are 1 winner and 1 finalist which includes Gandhimathi S of Kongu Engineering College and Sagar Mukundrao Gawande of ABMSP’S Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering & Research.
For the Best Non-Circuit Students Awards, Hemanth C Reddy of Sri Sairam College of Engineering.
For the Best P&P Organization Awards, Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Bengaluru has won the title.
For the Best Principal (E&T) Awards, there are 3 winners which including Kavitha V of M.Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Vijaya Kumar Y of Sri Sairam College of Engineering and Manigandan T of P.A. College of Engineering and Technology.
For the Best Research Institute Awards, P A College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi has won the title.
For the Best Research Organization Awards, AXL Techno Systems Pvt Ltd, Chennai has won the title.
For the Best Scientists Awards, there are 4 winners widely including P N Palanisamy of Kongu Engineering College, Delampady Narasimha of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Subrata Kundu of CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) and N S Raman of CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI).
For the Best Best Young Researcher (Female) Awards, there are 5 winners and 1 finalist which includes Sudha G of Vivekanadha College of Technolgy for Women, Sangeetha R G of VIT University Chennai Campus, Shriya Shripad Ambhaikar of Dali Medical University, Vidhya R of Annamalai University, Sumangala S Badami of University of Agricultural Sciences and Subbulakshmi T of VIT University Chennai Campus.
For the Best Young Researcher (Male) Awards, there are 6 winners and 1 finalist which includes Aravind P of Easwari Engineering college, Senthil Kumar A of Velammal Engineering College, Sreejith Vignesh B P of J.K.K Nattraja Educational Institutions, Muthuvel A of Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Ganesh V of CSIR – Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR – CECRI), Murali L of P.A. College of Engineering and Technology and Hemanth C of VIT University Chennai Campus.
For the Best Young Scientist Awards, there are 2 winners which includes Gayathri C B of Lakshmi Vilas Bank and Panneerselvam A of Paavai Engineering College.
The winners & finalist though will be added into the website for the Hall of Fame had also been personally visited by a committee of member(s) to validate and ascertain the documents submitted by each and every individual and institute. Always South Indian ASDF Awards aims in finding the right person after proper authentication and awarding them. The President of SIAA has assured that the same trust and reliability of the SIAA will be main motto and the same will be adhered with.
Widely closing the committee along with the International Secretary of ASDF Dr. K. Kokula Krishna Hari and South India ASDF President Dr. Uma Narsariya Dulhare gave an open call for all the public to be as a part of this SIAA and witness the victory of people on 08th April, 2017 at Kochi, India at 6 PM.
